The Maker Behind Ackee Tree
Hi, I’m Kimberly, a Jamaican-born seamstress now sewing in North Carolina. I started Ackee Tree because I wanted clothing that felt rooted in where I come from and beautiful in everyday life.
From African print and bandana sets to boho pieces, mommy-and-me looks, and bow ties and vests for boys and men, every piece is cut and sewn by me.
Nothing here is mass-produced. Just intentional, handmade clothing made to be worn with pride.
